OCTOBER 3 -10, 2009 CIAG HAWAIIAN CRUISE

50th College Graduation Anniversary of Class 1959 with a Hawaiian cruise aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line from Oct. 3 to 10, 2009.

The CLSU alumni group consisted of, husbands and wives: (L to R): Lito and Norma (class 1968, AgEngr.) Viray; Marciano (class 1959, AgEngr.) and Rose Estioko; Rizalino and Angela Tolentino (class 1959, HEc.) Gaetos; Edison (class 1959, AgEd.) and Nenita Baldonado (class 1959, HEc.) Cabacungan; and Valeriano (class 1959, AgEd.) and Beulah Pascual.  All participants are retired professionals from various occupations in the United States.

Aside from enjoying the beautiful sites in the various islands of Hawaii, the group had a wonderful time reminiscing about their memorable student days at CLSU.

Cruise's Itenerary starts in Honolulu. The cruise was organized under the leadership of Valeriano Pascual, Central Luzon State University International Alumni Group (CIAG)  President.

The cruise was a fund raising project of the Endowment Fund(EF) Committee of CIAG. All funds raised from the cruise were donated to the CIAG's EF.  All donations to the EF are deposited in a safe, interest bearing account, like a Certificate of Deposit, guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) of the  U.S. government. Only 90% of the interest of the Endowment Fund will be used for CLSU scholarships and programs and the remaining 10% will be reinvested in the EF.  Hence, the EF will always increase and never decrease over the years.

All CLSU alumni and friends who are interested in making a lasting donation, may do so by following the instructions on the CIAG ENDOWMENT FUND page of this website.

MABUHAY ANG CLSU!
